indiodali is a character used in performance art to show an alternate perspective to the contemporary art world. He comes "from the other side" with no affiliations and no pretensions. He is able to be critical of the art establishment, question our definitions, and ask us to be critical of our own history and predispositions of what art is, what are means, and who can make it.
In addition to performing as indiodali, Joseph has lectured at colleges and in communities across the United States and Canada. These lectures are about his own work, the Native Group of Seven, Indigenous Art, Art History, etc.
